This Privacy Policy describes how Scale Holdings, Inc. ("Scale Holdings," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit scale-holdings.co or any related Scale Holdings website, contact us, sign up for communications, or otherwise interact with our brands and services (collectively, the "Services").

This policy covers Scale Holdings, Inc. and its wholly-owned subsidiaries and brands, including GenRevv (Scale Marketing LLC), Scale IR LLC, MissionInvest (MissionInvest.co), and our analytics product.

If you are a paying client of Scale Holdings, your engagement is also governed by your Master Services Agreement and applicable Service Order. Where those documents address handling of confidential or contractual data, they control over this Privacy Policy with respect to that data.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways: information you provide directly, information collected automatically, and information from third parties.

1.1 Information You Provide

  • Contact and account information — name, business name, title, email address, phone number, mailing address, and similar details you provide through forms, demos, or correspondence
  • Communications — messages, inquiries, support requests, and meeting notes when you contact us or schedule a call
  • Newsletter and marketing preferences — email address and preferences when you subscribe to communications
  • Engagement and onboarding information — information you provide during sales conversations, proposals, or contracting, including details about your business, capital raise, or investor base
  • Payment information — billing details when you become a client; payment instruments are processed by third-party payment processors and we do not store full card numbers

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect:

  • Device and browser information — IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers
  • Usage data — pages viewed, time on page, referring URL, clickstream, and other interaction data
  • Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 6 below

1.3 Information from Third Parties

We may receive information from third-party sources, including:

  • Marketing and data providers (firmographic data, intent signals, business contact information)
  • Analytics and advertising partners
  • Public sources, including LinkedIn, SEC filings, and company websites
  • Referrals from existing clients or partners

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and our Services
  • Respond to inquiries and provide customer support
  • Send marketing communications, newsletters, and other materials you have opted into (you may opt out at any time)
  • Conduct sales outreach and qualification, including for prospective clients in the alternative investment and capital-raising space
  • Personalize your experience and deliver relevant content
  • Analyze usage, measure performance, and develop new features and services
  • Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, security incidents, and unlawful activity
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements

We may also use de-identified or aggregated data — including data derived from client engagements as permitted under applicable agreements — to develop proprietary analytics, scoring systems, market intelligence, and similar products. De-identified and aggregated data is not subject to this Privacy Policy.

3. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA/UK Visitors)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with similar requirements, we process personal information on the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract — where processing is necessary to provide services you have requested
  • Legitimate interests — operating and improving our business, marketing to prospective clients, and securing our systems, balanced against your rights
  • Consent — where required, such as for certain cookies and marketing emails (you may withdraw consent at any time)
  • Legal obligation — to comply with applicable law

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We share information in the following circumstances:

4.1 Within the Scale Holdings Family

We share information among Scale Holdings, Inc. and its subsidiaries and brands (GenRevv, Scale IR, MissionInvest, and our analytics product) for unified billing, customer support, sales, and operations.

4.2 Service Providers

We share information with third-party vendors that help us operate our business, including:

  • Cloud hosting and infrastructure (e.g., Vercel, Supabase, Google Cloud)
  • CRM and marketing automation (e.g., HubSpot)
  • Email delivery and outreach (e.g., SendGrid, Smartlead)
  • Analytics (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Advertising partners (e.g., Meta, Google Ads, LinkedIn)
  • Payment processors (e.g., Stripe)
  • Communication and meeting tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Fireflies)
  • Document and contract platforms

These providers are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations and are permitted to use information only as necessary to provide their services to us.

4.3 Business Transfers

If Scale Holdings or any subsidiary is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice as required by law.

4.4 Legal and Safety

We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, court order, or regulatory request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, the safety of others, or to investigate fraud or security incidents.

4.5 With Your Consent

We may share information for other purposes with your consent or at your direction.

5. Investor Marketing and Securities Compliance

If you are an investor or prospective investor who interacts with content created by Scale Holdings on behalf of a client (for example, an ad, landing page, webinar, or MissionInvest raise page), please note:

  • Scale Holdings is not the issuer of any investment opportunity. The issuer is Scale Holdings' client, and your relationship with respect to any investment is with that issuer.
  • Scale Holdings does not determine or verify accredited-investor status.
  • Information you submit through investor-facing materials may be shared with the applicable issuer client for follow-up and qualification.
  • Any investment decisions should be made based on the issuer's own offering materials and your independent due diligence.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Site uses cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, measure performance, and deliver advertising. Cookie types include:

  • Strictly necessary cookies — required for the Site to function
  • Analytics cookies — help us understand how visitors use the Site (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Marketing and advertising cookies — support advertising on platforms such as Meta, Google, and LinkedIn, including retargeting

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Where required by law, we will request your consent before placing non-essential cookies. Disabling some cookies may affect Site functionality.

We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, as no industry standard has been adopted. Where required, we honor opt-out preference signals such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC).

7. Email Communications and CAN-SPAM

We comply with the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act and applicable email-marketing laws. Marketing emails will identify themselves as such, include our physical address, and provide an unsubscribe mechanism. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by emailing privacy@scale-holdings.co. Transactional and account-related emails are not subject to opt-out.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information.

8.1 California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose
  • Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Opt out of "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising
  • Limit use of sensitive personal information (we do not currently collect sensitive PI as defined by CPRA)
  • Non-discrimination for exercising these rights

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. To the extent any of our advertising activity is considered "sharing" under CPRA, you may opt out by emailing privacy@scale-holdings.co or by enabling Global Privacy Control in your browser.

In the prior 12 months, we have collected the categories of information described in Section 1, used them for the purposes in Section 2, and disclosed them to the categories of recipients described in Section 4.

8.2 EEA, UK, and Similar Jurisdictions (GDPR)

If you are located in the EEA, UK, or another jurisdiction with similar laws, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information; the right to data portability; and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time.

8.3 How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@scale-holdings.co with your request and enough information to verify your identity. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, subject to verification.

9. International Data Transfers

Scale Holdings is based in the United States, and your information will be processed in the U.S. and other countries where our service providers operate. These countries may have data-protection laws different from those of your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect your information when it is transferred internationally.

10. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Specific retention periods vary by data type and context. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

11. Security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No security measure is perfect, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your information, we will notify you and applicable authorities as required by law.

12. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact privacy@scale-holdings.co and we will take appropriate action.

13. Third-Party Sites

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including MissionInvest.co pages operated for our clients and external services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by posting the updated policy on the Site and, where appropriate, by email or other reasonable means. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
